:  Bridges of the World

Bridges are everywhere. They connect harbors, valleys, and cities. They mirror people's lives and cultures. Korea has many bridgs, too. The longest bridge in Korea in Gwangandaegyo.

The longest bridge in the world is the Causeway Bridge in Louisiana, U.S. It's 38.4 kilometers long. The tallest bridge in the world is the Millau Bridge in France. It's 343 meters high. It's taller than the Eiffel Tower.

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is shorter than the Causeway Bridge. But it is a beautiful bridge. The Humber Bridge in the U.K., the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, and the Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech, are all very famous. The Charles Bridge is older than the Humber Bridge or the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It's about 700 years old.

In the future, people will build longer and stronger bridge. But there is one very important bridge. The most important bridge is the bridge in our hearts. It connects different races and customs. It connects you and me. It makes a more beautiful and peaceful world.
